"The Ballad of Jack and Rose get the names of Titanic?

I realized that there was a movie from 2005 or so called The Ballad of Jack and Rose. I read the summary on Wikipedia, but I wondered: The Ballad of Jack and Rose are named after a character Rose Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio's character, Jack from Titanic? This has been bothering me a bit. Thank you!

I doubt the writer would have chosen the names of "Titanic." This reference would be totally inappropriate in this film. The movies are full of coincidences that mean nothing. EDIT: By the way, until this question was asked, I never once thought "Titanic". Have you seen "Ballad"? If so, I think you know it's mere coincidence, because the father and daughter is very, very different from other Jack and Rose. I can not see the writer want to connect with its complex history of James Cameron, and undistorted take in history. Indeed, his Jack / Rose SYNOPSIS rises from an episode of "The Tunnel from time "to Tony and a girl falling in love, leading to him being imprisoned below deck as the ship sinks. If you want to draw something, what about a boy named Harry Potter that blends the magic of "Troll" (1986)? HP The author claims there is absolutely no connection.
