When one thinks of soul music, names like Vandrose Luther, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, and how to get there. But come on, where is the soul without the singers? Some of the biggest hits that brought R & B, soul in the main focus, and aroused the passions of the largest in the audience were women. All women can relate to hard times of the female artist's soul and principles of the artist reflects this time of the Vietnam War to the mere struggle of a woman in the world.

The early blues singer paved the way for all female artists female vocalists later. Many R & B have made a strong impact on industry music and stage for many more, like Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner.

Aretha Franklin

What part of the Great Women of Soul Music would be complete without the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin? Aretha Franklin (born March 25, 1942) began his career in R & B Soul as a child singing gospel music in her childhood church. He was considered a child prodigy. The influence of gospel music he grew up singing was certainly an influence primordial soul in his later career in music.

Ms. Franklin has 20 number one rhythm and blues to his name. She is known as one of the most honored the Grammy Awards, in addition to being the recipient of a Living Legends Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award. Aretha Franklin also with his seat belt as recently sensual voice as the opening of the 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Obama.

Tina Turner

Although she is known most recently as soloist, Ana Maria Bullock (Tina Turner) is known performer another great soul, along with former husband Ike Turner. While still in high school, Bullock would go with his sister at nightclubs and the area through much prodding from her sister, Bullock Ike Turner auditioned for and became part Turner's research & B soul band and occasional vocalist with the Kings of Rhythm in your club. This was the springboard for the oxen, at the age of 18-year career in R & B. Bullock was married to Ike Turner and changed its name to Tina Turner.

His first opportunity in the general Soul music came in 1960 when singer scheduled to sing "A Fool in Love", "It's Gonna Work Out Fine," "I Idolize You" and the groundbreaking "River Deep, Mountain High "was not submitted for recording. Tina Young was elected to record instead. However, his most memorable hit was a cover of" Proud Mary CCR.

Some other great female R & B soul singers are Chaka Khan, Patti Labelle, Whitney Houston, Anita Baker, Patti Austin, Barbara Mason, Martha and the Vandellas, Denise Williams, and many more. Many of these artists started strong female life simpler and even more difficult after all, they overcame all obstacles, already exists with grace, and now known as some of the best rhythm and blues female vocalist to date.
