Born again?

I just read a question that concerns a Catholic born again negative. I'm not sure why people have so many problems when people say that you must be born again. It is simply echoing what Jesus said and taught. He said it must be born again. So why negative connotations? John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say, if a man is born again he can not see the kingdom of God.

For those who do not know what being born again really means, here it is: First, let's see what Jesus says about it: John 3:1-21 (New International Version) 1Now was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a Jewish member of the ruling Council. 2HE came to Jesus by night and said, "Rabbi, we know you're a teacher who has come from God. Because no one could perform the miracles you do unless God were with him. "3In reply Jesus declared," I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless born again. "4" How can a man be born when he is old? "Nicodemus asked." Certainly he can not enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born? "5Jesus replied," I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born water and the Spirit. 6Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7You should not be surprised that I said: Ye must be born again. 8The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you can not tell where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. "9" How can this be? "Nicodemus asked. 10" You are the master of Israel, "Jesus said," and do not understand these things? 11I tell you the truth, we speak what we know, and testify of what we have seen, but you do not accept our testimony. 12I have spoken of earthly things and ye believe not, how then you believes that if I speak of heavenly things? 13No one has ascended into heaven but He who came from heaven-the Son of Man. 14Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. 16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God only begotten Son. 19This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the light, and not come out for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21But whoever lives by the truth comes to light, so it can be seen clearly that what he has done has been done through God. "Now, some people use this verse: QUOTE 5Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. 6Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. in the sense that this refers to infant baptism. I looked at the baptism of children in another forum, click here! And we saw that there is no biblical basis for infant baptism. No, the "water" mentioned here refers to water of a woman last minute, shortly before physical birth. This is supported in verse 7: APPOINTMENT 6Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. Ok. (sorry to digress!) Jesus states here that "born again" not a physical process but a spiritual process. Being a spiritual process is further proof that there is nothing we can do to get it! You must come from God! I love verse 8: 8The wind blows wherever it pleases. And you hear the sound, but you can not tell where it comes from and where it goes. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. " But: Have you noticed that this is very prophetic, because it is exactly what happened on the day of Pentecost: Acts 2:1-4 (New International Version) 1When Pentecost, they were all together in one place. 2Suddenly a sound like the sound of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3They saw what looked like tongues of fire, distributed and resting on each one of them. 4all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as Spirit allowed. We can see the Holy Spirit with our own eyes, so he takes other forms, in this case, both a mighty wind and tongues of fire Fold! And when you think about it, remember what John the Baptist, said: Luke 3:16 (New International Version) 16John answered them all, "I baptize you with water. But one more powerful of things to come, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize with the Holy Spirit and with fire. Another prophecy come true! Then see this: 12I have spoken to you earthly things and do not believe, then how will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? Again, it is spiritually born again! When we Christ, acknowledge our need of him, 1. recognize our need of Him 2.acknowledge we can not attain salvation by ourselves 3. confess our sins before him 4. ask forgivness for them 5. Jesus into our hearts as our Lord and Savior 6. thank him for agreeing to take back to his family as his former prodigal children. When we do this, the Holy Spirit comes into us immediately, remove the stain of original sin, and changes us from the former sinners we were, new saints beings and blameless in God's eyes! It is as if we never sinned! Our PSAT every sin, becoming sin we have committed, is Compleatly forgotten, and the evident truth ofthis verse: 2 Corinthians 5:17 (New International Version) 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ is a new creature: old things are passed, the new has come! We become new creatures-right in the eyes of God, and now we can come right in God's presence without the need for any man! we are born again!
