The nostalgia or pop culture? Aways cutting or black comedy? While evil, evil child is plotting to kill his mother in Family Guy, The lack of bony mouth Eric Cartman of South Park is feeding one of his enemies to their own parents in a bowl of chili, (Yes, this actually happened in one episode.) So, which program is better? That show is more fun? While Family Guy has its moments of brilliance (ie - the scene of 'Where is my money ',) South Park Family Guy overshadows all aspects of the genius of comedy.
While it is inevitable that Family Guy is a program very popular, is still in bad taste, no fun, not originals.
You can compare and contrast each main character and still get Family Guy to the same conclusion - They are the exact prototype of the same family as The Simpsons' characters. The intelligent, attractive mother sex Marge Simpson and Lois Griffin, the fat, drunken fool in Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin, and smart, awkward, dweeb of a daughter Lisa and Meg Griffin. Not only that, but Brian, the dog from Family Guy, look almost identical to Snoopy peanuts. You can not help but wonder if Stewie Griffin, one of the most Popular FG, is a brain-off scam of the 90 Warner Brothers cartoons, Pinky and the Brain.
As for the jokes and gags of the series, is clear that the writers of recycling every single joke already used. Every joke is a sexual innuendo, a flashback to something irrelevant to the plot, or a joke that continues over a long period of time, which is supposed to be fun. I once saw an episode of FG in which Lois comes home to find baby Stewie in the ceiling. As we enter the House to punish Peter for allowing an event happening, Peter, trying to distract Lois introduces a clip of Conway Twitty, saying: "Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Conway Twitty. "He smiled at first chance, but the clip was too. The gag Conway Twitty lasted about 4 minutes he only sings. Bad taste the joke got me to thinking, are the writers of Family Guy seriously this lazy or just do not care?
So what does the vulgar, offensive, 9 years old from the small town of South Park as a great show? I'll tell you. Each episode has a meaning. That's right. Apart from vomiting, farting, killing, and explosions of blood, every episode of South Park usually has a metaphorical interpretation installed. Whether their religion, abortion, global warming or politics, of South Park Family Guy offers something never does and never will.
One of the most brilliant South Park episodes of all time came in the season 13 episode 3, entitled "Margaritaville". The episode parallels the history of the death of Jesus to the current situation the economy. As the economy starts to become worse, Randy Marsh (Stan father) began to preach false statements about the economy, saying they spend less; be afraid of the economy will help the situation. When Kyle starts to get irritated by his teachings, Kyle stars to preach that the economy is bad or average, and that everyone should keep spending. Many people start to condemn those who overspend. While a man is being stoned in public for purchase soon, unimportant issues, preaches Kyle "one who has not bought a stupid throw the first stone." Kyle product to preach about the economy, while Eric Cartman (Judas) makes Randy Marsh (Pontius Pilate) to discuss blasphemy on the economy. During the end of the episode, Kyle and twelve of his followers are eating at a Pizza Restaurant. During dinner, Kyle explains that he has a "weird feeling that someone will betray him." Eric Cartman then gets up and says no one would betray him, saying "who betrays him is an idiot." This episode shows the true greatness of the satirical comedy, which shows the ingenuity and playfulness in the highest degree.
While Parent plethera brings a predictable jokes at the table, South Park gives viewers a sense of fun and intelligence Peter Griffin never understand.
