What is the difference between religion and faith?

My understanding is that faith is personal trust in God, religion is something that is done to show others what the tribe to which it belongs. I read somewhere that there are 320 religions around the world, each claiming to be correct. Obviously not everyone can be the right, so there is no such thing as truth and false religions.

Faith makes us sure of what we expect and gives us proof of what can not see. (Hebrews 11:1). In other words, through and by his personal relationship with God, you know that you know, you know .... meet their needs, and all things are possible for those who believe this is because he loves you. ..... Religion is a ritual. It is based on the premise that if we conduct ourselves and our lives in a certain way, we will win the love of God. Most people do not see the difference between faith and religion, but it is clear that there is a marked difference. ....... If there is a false religion. Any religion preacher works on faith, is a false religion. Any religion that preaches Jesus as the Way, Truth and Life is a false religion. ..... Jesus is the Messiah there is no other way to heaven, but by and by believing in Him, and the gift he gave us all when he died on the cross and rose from the dead.
