As I said in an earlier chapter, the vinyl does not come in a wide range of colors. As the song that Procol Harum "Whiter Shade Of Pale", is generally limited to white, pale shades of gray or brown. This is because the titanium oxide pigment (a component that prevents vinyl colors yellow or fading) makes it difficult to create darker colors.
Darker colors absorb sunlight so they do not hold well. Also proof vinyl graffiti is that you simply can not "Paint it Black". Why pop euphemisms? Trying to cheer this chapter, as one of the few limitations of vinyl is that it is very colorful.
Over the years I have seen from time to time manufacturers go with darker colors, but they never did well and fell in time. I can not tell you how many times they asked if we black or green. If you come through these darker colors, be very careful with his decision.
It is a scientific fact that the dark colored vinyl fades and deteriorates faster than light-colored vinyl as a formula complex is necessary for the protection and conservation. So far these attempts have not succeeded.
There was one exception to this in 2004. Someone came out with what they called "wood grain". Originally produced in China, it looks great with real wood grain through it. The darker line, but began again there were too many problems, such as deformation, so that illuminated the color formula in hopes of alleviating these complications and have been quite successful.
A couple of years later, domestic manufacturers came out with their versions. "Wood Grain" is a nice alternative to wood, I love the look. If you do too much, just be aware that some are better than others. Be careful before buying and thorough investigation.
When a company sells a tan, which can range from a coffee beige (extra cream) for the almond. The almond is actually blank unless you view it against a real piece of white vinyl. It is important to understanding differences in shade as you may need more fencing in the future and may be hard to match, unless you are buying from the same company as the purchase original.
This is a good time to examine fading. Commercial grade vinyl is designed to maintain its true color for life. In fact, if you have fire, gray or wood grain fences, over the years there will be a very slow and gradual fading. So soft and gradual, that not even notice.
However, if you put a piece of very original in his closet, took place 10 years later and won the rest of the fence that would see a Minimum color fade. I must say that the public continues to demand a broader spectrum of color in vinyl fencing and due to this demand, the industry continues to experience with color formulas.
