How can you tell someone you have bad breath without hurting his feelings?

Without hurting someone's feelings or be too direct, how You can let someone know they have bad breath? My teacher has bad breath and so does the girl next to me. I thought of offering mints, but even this may be a little direct. Any suggestions?

Oh man ... bad breath drives me crazy! I dated someone who is always chewing gum or mints ... and then a time stopped. He had bad breath 80% of the time. Finally I said ... I can not remember how the conversation went ... and he did not believe it. So now I still had bad breath and teased me to mention it. No help. So although you can not solve the problem of bad breath, at least you can solve the problem of having to smell it. I would definitely pop a mint in your mouth (breathing through the mouth to help camouflage their odor) and offer a constant. People tend to take the track or at least joke about having bad breath when offering gum / mints much. Moreover, when the teacher is supported to talk to you, lean back a little, only a little so that he / she can take a hint. Hope this helps!
