The Turks and Caicos, actually consists of forty different islands and cays, only eight of which have people living in them, and are within the range of easy-Miami flight.

The differences between islands is very marked, Providenciales, which is the main place for tourists, the opposite end of spectrum which would be entirely peaceful islands of North and Middle Caicos. The other time a visit to the historic capital of the island of Grand Turk would be an experience totally different.

Many people return year after year to the Turks and Caicos, because each island is different, they have different characteristics, each offers the visitor a different experience.

Providenciales is the best known and most developed of the Turks and Caicos. You will arrive at International Airport from here, and most of the islands are less than 25 minutes flying time from here.

Providenciales, not only has some of the best Turks and Caicos resorts luxury, which is also surrounded by some of the best beaches in the Caribbean not only, but in the world.

Grand Turk, is where most cruise ships come, and where Cockburn Town is the historic center of this capital of the island. It is also famous for its diving.

Salt Cay is a small island of just over two miles squares, counted by some as one of the best kept secrets in the Caribbean, with some stunning beaches and fantastic diving. Salt Cay is the place to go at certain times the year to see humpback whales.

North Caicos has the most rainfall, and has lush vegetation. It is easily accessible from Providenciales, also has white sand beaches and the largest flock of pink flamingos on the islands. It is beginning to develop luxury resorts.

Caicos South is the fishing capital of the Turks and Caicos, and he would go there for this, poultry, fresh seafood and diving.

Middle Caicos is the largest island and has most spectacular coastline, with limestone cliffs in the north, and is home to a large network of caves and the remains of huge Lucayan Indian settlements.

West Caicos is possibly the most beautiful dive sites magnificently in the Turks and Caicos. It is uninhabited, but is being developed as a shelter full exclusive.

East Caicos is great, but a beautiful deserted beach on the north coast which is used by turtles to lay eggs, but not people because of the large number of mosquitoes.

The 100-acre Parrot Cay is the site of one of the most exclusive resorts in the world is the Parrot Cay Resort and Spa, and a few homes very exclusive beachfront.

Pine Cay is home to the Club Meridan, and freshwater lakes were the reason for some early inhabitants. The most Pine Cay striking is its beautiful beach.

Dellis Cay is a small uninhabited island east of Pine Cay, host of the Mandarin Oriental hotel in a 35-acre site facing the sea.

Ambergris Cay is miles from the nearest inhabited island, and was uninhabited for almost five centuries. The development currently houses a very, very exclusive.

You see therefore there are great options Turks and Caicos Islands and remains one of the best beach destinations in the Caribbean getaway.
