How can I splice connectors RCA stereo to mono?
There is a "Y" adapter available from Radio Shack. But if you want to splice them yourself, just make sure that the shielded cables (common) are welded and then the remaining 2 wires are soldered. Then, only the solder and the old RCA cable in the same way, making your own home, "Y" adapter. Wrap the items soldiers individually with electrical tape so you never touch. But a line mixer / microphone (Radio Shack again) with capacity of monkey has the best job with the least amount of signal loss. Good luck!
