Where do I start to make a simple computer program on a Mac?

I have a Mac and want to do some very simple computer program. I know nothing About Computer Programming! I want some simple programs or tutorials on how to make a simple program. Does the Mac already has a program like that in it? Thanks!

Mac OS X operating system is very open to accept virtually any Langauge you throw at it. AppleScript to Perl for C # (using Mono). In fact, you can many tools in the world to install Linux / UNIX directly on your machine. With every copy of Mac OS X in which a complete copy of the development environment free Apple Xcode. It's on the DVD that came with your Mac But http://developer.apple.com/Tools/xcode/ If you are just looking to make a quick little project you might want only to use AppleScript. It is a very powerful language and can serve their purposes. To make larger applications you may want to use Objective C, Java or C + + however, languages are much more demanding.
