Veneto, northern Italy is home to Venice, one of tourist destinations the world's largest. In fact, do not miss many of the attractions the other regions, many. Although this country is mainly white wine, we have many local specialties to cope with red wine.

You may want to start with carpaccio (slices of raw meat dress), which would be created at Harry's Bar in Venice. Couples include wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Chiani Classico DOCG Tuscany, Piedmont, Dolcetto, Valpolicella DOC and local. If you chose the second wine, be sure to get a good as the quality varies considerably.

Soup coada (Squab Soup) is made with white wine and parmesan cheese. It takes a long time to prepare, but for many people is the food. You can substitute chicken for the pigeons, but couples recommended wine will change. Pairs of wine are offered support if you can find Boca DOC DOC Fara expensive, and Nebbiolo d'Alba, all of Piedmont.

Another specialty is the dove of Veneto Torresani Pervero (pigeons the pin on a sausage, liver, and Salsa herbal) Try with polenta and serve with a good local wine, Amarone della Valpolicella DOC Recioto.

Venetia residents prefer rice to pasta. Risi e Bisi (rice and peas) is a classic dish. Add some ham and Parmesan cheese and a couple with the Commerce Department or Bardolino Superiore DOCG Bardolino or Valpolicella.

Another fine rice dish is Risotto Primavera (Spring vegetable risotto) of vegetables, chicken broth, butter and Parmesan cheese. Enjoy this dish with a Soave or Valpolicella Classico, Veneto, too.

Our final dish is known Fegato Liver alla Veneziana (calf Onion) which is fairly easy to do. Enjoy this classic with a Bardolino (which would go to the top), or better yet, a Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Tuscany.

How is white wine and red wine? Do you use different types of grapes?

My mother is in the wine business, and it always brings a home using empty bottles of wine and I always wonder what it takes to make white wine and red wine. Do you add artificial coloring? Thank you! I never I had to ask my mom. It always works.

with red wine, red is the reason is the "juice" 's contacts with the red grape skin. White wine can be made from red grapes simply have no contact with the skin during the process of grinding. It veriatals white grapes that are green or pale yellow color (Semillion Sauv Blanc Cheinin Blanc, Chardonnay)
