Can you imagine a world without music? No songs, no fear, no rock, no jazz without pitching, no hymns, no boogie-woogie, no country-western, no symphonies. No singing in the shower. N Dixie Amateur. Whistles not have the romance and song lyrics. There would be no such thing as "our song." Frankie could not fly to the moon. Elvis can not complain of people step into the blue suede shoes. Tony Bennett would have to write a letter about how he left his heart in San Francisco. Willie might go on the road again, but without a guitar. And Ray Charles would look very strange on stage without a piano that tells us that Georgia is on your mind. Then when came the wedding day, what would the departure of the bride on the island? A poem? Silence? Applause? And when the happy couple left the church together, do for the dogs barking in the neighborhood, or perhaps all the wedding guests talking at once? And at the reception, What would they dance? The Funky Chicken is not the same without music. As the rate is part of the music, no drums, not even be allowed. And the honeymoon I suppose would take place with radio news, or perhaps the educational channel accompanied by the hum of an air conditioner. When the baby comes, calm us to sleep with a reading of Shakespeare? Or perhaps random readings dictionary or encyclopedia? We could had to sleep with words? Nursery Rhymes would have to be sung or recited instead of singing. The programs of the School of Music is of course, does not exist, as well as school choirs and orchestras and bands. When the football team of the school theater, there would be no war song of the school. Cheerleaders should be encouraged and any sort of dance music.

And when those birthdays roll, we should pray together in a monotone "happy birthday to you. "And when duty calls, what the soldiers in March? What would take the place of music in parades, since there will be no bands music? John Philip Sousa would have had to get a day job. And on July 4 there would be no patriotic songs - just speeches. Over Christmas there will be no Christmas carols. There enthusiastic gospel music at Easter, no hymns in church. Can you imagine the radio without music? Nothing but news and talk shows and bla bla bla bla .... I do not know about you, but I was just thinking here. I'm going to the piano now to celebrate the fact that our Creator gave us the wonderful and inspiring and uplifting gift of music that we all take for granted.

I think I will play a lullaby or two, then the wedding march, then Silent Night, then Auld Lang Syne, then Fur Elise, then blues, then a little jazz, then ... and then ...
