Well, now you're playing guitar, but I want to play on guitar burning speed? Are you impressed by the likes of Kirk Hammett and Jimi Hendrix and the velocities of vertigo that play? If you're starting with the guitar of speed, here are some tips and ideas for you to get well.
- Get comfortable: Always chain - perpendicular or at a slight angle?
- Coordination. This is one of the underrated aspects of guitar speed. Most people think they only need quick left hand on the fingerboard - but the gathering skills are vital, as we shall see! Good speed Guitar Lesson needs a high level of coordination between the left and right hand.
Make sure your left hand is the light on the ropes, and need not to move too - use your wrist for most of the movements. Proper technique the right hand is to choose correctly, as discussed below. Do not underestimate any of these components!
- The alternate picking. It refers to a technique that consists of alternating fast times of selection up and down. The faster the right hand can make these moves, the faster his playing. To practice alternate picking, just use a guitar pick to play a note with a "down" blow and the next with an "up" stroke. Play all the notes in these movements. Important objective is to clean, precise notes first - to test the speed later!
- Tremolo Picking. A useful way to practice alternate picking is through tremolo. In short, tremolos are quick recurrence of a single note. Try to begin each of their classes to practice sessions with tremolos. It really helps to warm your right hand!
Tremolo Playing is simple - choose any phrase and then three times each note. Try a variety of styles using this method - blues, jazz, solos - the works. Be patient, and will the enormous advantages of this technique brings!
- Chromatic exercises. This is another useful exercises to help you become guitarist in a good speed. Exercises involving chromatic play 4 consecutive frets, ideally with increasing speed. These exercises also build your strength finger - a vital skill for playing speed. Use a metronome to chart your progress - begin with a speed of about 100-120 BPM, and increase slowly. - Use a metronome. You can do hundreds of exercises to develop speed of your abilities, but without using a metronome, there is no guarantee you'll get faster. A metronome will help you measure your speed in concrete terms - and this is always motivating!
